Franak Viačorka and Aliaksandr Dabravolski are moving to Warsaw with Tsikhanouskaya
Dzianis Kuchynski will be the director of the Vilnius office.
According to a statement from the press service of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office, it is expanding its activities in Poland.
This week, the democratic leader began work in Warsaw, where a new office will soon open, operating in parallel with the Vilnius office.
Part of the team will move to the Polish capital — primarily those employees who are proficient in Polish and are familiar with the local context. Among them are chief advisor Franak Viačorka and senior advisor Aliaksandr Dabravolski.
This is expected to strengthen interaction with Poland. Meetings are currently underway with representatives of the Belarusian diaspora and the preparation of office space for the start of operations.
At the same time, the Vilnius office will continue its activities, maintaining its registration and diplomatic accreditation. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya noted that she will regularly visit Lithuania and considers Vilnius an important diplomatic center, as well as one of the key workplaces for Belarusian democratic forces and civil society.
A significant part of the team, including the international department, will remain working in Lithuania. Dzianis Kuchynski, advisor on diplomatic affairs, has been appointed head of the Vilnius office.
It is declared that the office will continue its work for the release of political prisoners and the cessation of repression, will address the problems of Belarusians abroad and within the country, attract international attention to the situation in Belarus, support independent media, cultural and educational projects, and facilitate the approach of democratic changes.
