Man hospitalized after electric scooter battery explosion

The incident occurred on the evening of September 4 on the territory of a garage construction cooperative in the agrotown of Hatava, Minsk district. Around 8:20 PM, rescuers were informed that a Belarusian man born in 1984 had been hospitalized with burns.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the electric scooter battery exploded during charging. As a result, the man sustained burns and required medical assistance.

The causes of the incident and the circumstances of the fire are currently being investigated.
