In a relaxed conversation on the No Lie podcast with YouTube star Brian Tyler Cohen, the 44th President of the United States was asked: «Are aliens real?» Obama smiled — and replied: «They exist, but I haven't seen them,» writes BILD.
Obama did not explain how he knows that aliens exist if he hasn't seen them himself.
These words from Obama came during a series of quick questions. To the next question about Area 51, he responded more specifically and with clear irony: «There is no underground base — unless there's a gigantic conspiracy being hidden even from the President of the United States.»
But the topic of extraterrestrial beings didn't end there: Cohen wanted to know what question Obama demanded an answer to first at the beginning of his presidency. Laughing, Obama replied: «Where are the aliens?»
The Myth of Area 51
Since the 1950s, rumors have persistently circulated in the USA that crashed UFOs are stored at the military base Area 51 in Nevada, and that top-secret research and reverse engineering are being conducted there.
Conspiracy theorists believe that there are secret hangars, laboratories with extraterrestrial technologies, and scientists working on superweapons, teleportation, and time travel.
In 2021, on a talk show, Obama had already admitted that immediately after taking office, he inquired whether there was a secret laboratory anywhere with extraterrestrial objects. The answer then was unequivocal: no. However, he also confirmed that there are videos and photographs of objects in the sky whose movements cannot be easily explained.
