Inspectors will first pay attention to the technical condition of the transport: they will check the serviceability of the vehicles and the presence of winter tires. Special emphasis will be placed on drivers' compliance with traffic rules.
Also, compliance with passenger transportation rules will be under special control — including the availability and use of seat belts.
For greater effectiveness of the inspections, it is planned to use cameras from the Republican Public Safety Monitoring System.
It is reported that officials who commit violations will be brought to administrative responsibility. The purpose of the raids is to improve the safety of passenger transportation in route taxis.
