This season, the hockey player played 6 matches for "Kladno" in the Czech championship and scored 1 (0+1) point. This is already Jaromír's 38th season in his professional career.

"Fans will no longer see me. A miracle must happen. God must make me fifteen years younger. Sometimes I skate. But I gained weight during the Olympics. Did nothing but eat and watch TV, so I gained 4-5 kilograms.

Physical exercise is very important, it's all about discipline. The worst is when you don't need it. But forcing yourself is also terrible. I still keep myself in shape, but I don't train enough to play," said Jaromír Jágr.

Jaromír Jágr was born on February 15, 1972, in Kladno. He debuted in professional hockey in 1988 for the club of the same name.

From 1990 to 2018, he played in the National Hockey League. His career included "Pittsburgh Penguins," with whom he won the Stanley Cup twice, "Washington Capitals," "New York Rangers," "Philadelphia Flyers," "Boston Bruins," "Dallas Stars," "Florida Panthers" (original text says "Florida Flyers", which is likely a typo for "Florida Panthers"), "New Jersey Devils," "Calgary Flames."

He ranks second in points in NHL regular seasons and fifth in the Stanley Cup playoffs. He ranks fourth in history in the number of games played in NHL championships.

Three facts about Jágr in the NHL:

— from 1980 to 2021, at least one hockey player who was Jágr's teammate played in every Stanley Cup final;

— while Jágr played in the league, Keith Tkachuk managed to go through the draft, spend 18 years in the NHL, and raise his son Matthew, who was drafted by "Calgary" and became Jágr's teammate in 2017;

— when Jágr debuted in the NHL, Internet Explorer did not yet exist. When Jágr ended his NHL career, Internet Explorer no longer existed.

In 2011, Jágr bought the club "Kladno," for which he has been playing again since 2019. He always plays in jersey number 68 in memory of the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968.
