According to media reports, the strikes were carried out in the vicinity of the city of Nabatieh, as well as several other settlements in the south of the country. In addition to aviation, drones were also used.
Despite a truce being in effect between Lebanon and Israel since April 17, fighting continues. The Lebanese army is not involved in the conflict, while the "Hezbollah" group, which did not participate in the peace talks, is opposing Israel.
In response, "Hezbollah" launched several rockets at Israeli positions. No casualties or injuries were reported. Representatives of the movement stated that this was a response to the violation of the ceasefire regime.
On May 8, Israel also carried out strikes on southern Lebanon. According to Lebanese state media, 14 people died and several others were injured in attacks over the past day. Among the deceased was a civil defense employee whose car was attacked by an Israeli drone.
