Belarusian and Russian figure skaters will not be able to participate in the 2026 World Championship in Prague, the International Skating Union told "Match TV".

"An exception was made for the qualifying competitions for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina," the press service noted.
Viktoria Safonova (Belarus) and Adeliia Petrosian and Petr Gumennik (Russia) were admitted to the Milan Olympics in a neutral status.
At the international level, Belarusian and Russian hockey players have been suspended since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
