Ukraine's Air Assault Forces reported a counteroffensive operation in the Oleksandrivka direction.
The group is trying to curb further advancement of the Russian army in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts and push it beyond the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Since the start of the counteroffensive, the group of Air Assault Forces, along with adjacent units, has liberated over 300 sq. km and eight settlements.
"While the active phase of the operation is ongoing, it's a bit premature to talk about its final results," the servicemen note.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the liberation of 300 sq. km amid the blocking of Russian Starlink terminals.
Also, officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Tkachuk reported a successful counteroffensive in the south — in the direction of the settlements of Pavlivka, Uspenivka, and Ternuvate in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. This was achieved thanks to the blocking of Starlink for Russians at the front and the preparation of Ukrainian servicemen, the officer noted in a comment to the "We Are Ukraine" TV channel.
DeepState analysts also reported on the counteroffensive in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. At that time, it was said that the Ukrainian army had pushed back Russian troops near Kalynivske and Ternove.
