"He didn't think he'd be kissing my ass." Trump spoke about relations with the Saudi Crown Prince
According to US President Donald Trump, Saudi Crown Prince (the de facto current ruler of the country) Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud allegedly did not expect the current developments and is now forced to be more loyal to the United States. Trump claims that the prince previously counted on Washington's weaker position, but now must change his approach and relations with the American side.

"He didn't think he'd be kissing my ass. He really didn't. He thought it would just be another American loser president, under whom the country was going downhill, but now he is forced to be polite with me. Tell him he'd better not quarrel with me. He has to be polite," Trump said.

Some of them express concern over potential threats to energy supplies in the region and therefore advocate for a tougher policy towards Tehran, although they were more cautious before.
