Scammers invented a new lure — Telegram, which supposedly works without internet
The police warned Belarusians about a new scam scheme related to Telegram. Attackers are distributing a supposedly "new version" of the popular messenger, which, they claim, works without internet — via radio frequencies.

In reality, this is a deception: such a version of the messenger does not exist. This whole invention serves only to lure trusting people into the scammers' trap.
To those who believe them, scammers send a link to a "mobile application" and offer to install it. After this, they gain access to the user's data, and then they can hack accounts and intercept access codes.
It is important to firmly remember that Telegram cannot work without the internet, and therefore, under no circumstances should you download suspicious programs or follow unknown links.
