Putin called the war in Ukraine a righteous struggle for the future of generations

"The military operation in Ukraine is a righteous struggle for the future of generations," Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a gala evening celebrating the tenth anniversary of Rosgvardia, held in the Kremlin Palace, as reported by the Kremlin press service.
Russian servicemen, he noted, are currently in combat positions and are engaged in "difficult combat work." The Russian president indicated that it is a righteous struggle.
"Our comrades are fighting for Russia, at this very moment they are in combat positions, on the front lines, confidently carrying out difficult combat work. This is a righteous struggle for a peaceful, free, secure life for our children and grandchildren on their own land. For the sacred historical right of our people to speak their native language, to honor their ancestors, true heroes, to preserve the precepts and faith of their fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers," he said.
