The capital's authorities have warned about cases in which a permit to trade flowers may be revoked. This was announced by the head of the trade and services department of the Minsk City Executive Committee at an operational meeting, as reported by the "Minsk-News" agency.

The main reason is non-compliance with the requirements for keeping the trading place tidy. When selling flowers, litter is generated — trimmed stems, leaves, petals. Vendors are obliged to clean their workplace daily.
If this requirement is ignored, the permit issued by the district administration may be revoked. The authorities emphasize that cleanliness in the city depends on the vendors and residents themselves.
Such measures have been introduced because in previous years not all vendors properly maintained order after trading ceased.
Separately, the fight against illegal flower sales was reminded. Joint raids involving police, representatives of district administrations, and tax authorities are planned. Trading without a permit is subject to a fine of up to 50 basic units.
Residents were also warned about an increase in scammers before the holidays. It is recommended to purchase flowers in official stores or on verified online platforms, where seller information should be indicated and a receipt issued. Otherwise, there is a risk of being left without money and without goods.
