Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in the World of Trouble podcast of the British newspaper Independent that Russian special services had tried to kill him at least 11 times. For security reasons, he only rarely visits his wife and children, whose presence could endanger them, reports Bild.
Zelenskyy also said that his children experience the same problems as many children in Ukraine: «They go to school, they study, and they have to run very quickly to shelters [during air raids].» The children of Volodymyr and Olena Zelenskyy, 13-year-old Kyrylo and 21-year-old Oleksandra, live in a secret location — to also avoid assassination attempts.
The Ukrainian president himself, according to him, also spends most of his time in various protected locations. Russian special services observe his every move. According to his information, FSB special units received orders to «decapitate» the Ukrainian leadership.
