US President's special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will urgently visit Israel. The visit is scheduled for March 10, reports The Times of Israel.
The visit takes place amidst escalating tensions between the United States of America and Israel, caused by large-scale Israeli military strikes on Iran's oil infrastructure.
Although Israel had informed about plans to attack energy facilities in advance, the White House believed they would be more symbolic and would not lead to significant destruction of strategic facilities.
On the night of March 7, Israeli forces launched massive airstrikes on several Iranian fuel facilities, causing fires and a series of explosions in Tehran and nearby Karaj.
