"Looks like an act of animal abusers": someone is scattering rat poison in various districts of Minsk
A reader contacted the Onliner editorial office and reported that someone, presumably, had scattered rat poison in the city center, on a dog walking area and nearby. The girl assures that she heard about similar incidents in various parts of Minsk from several other pet owners.

According to Mira, on Thursday, near the "Farforovy" residential complex (Krapotkina street area) on her way to the park, she met an acquaintance, also a dog owner. The girl suggested going to a special dog playground together, but in response heard a story about rat poison found there.
— This horrified me! Because it was scattered not only inside the fence, but also in the field nearby. There's a children's playground not far away, and although it's still cold, someone might still be walking with children, and the poison is bright and attracts attention.

— Returning home, I decided to talk to other owners. I found out that they had already written [an appeal] to the district administration and called the police. The administration reacted quite quickly: the same day the playground was sealed until a specialized service arrives to clean it and make it safe again, — the girl added.

The police report was filed by Yaroslav. The man said he learned about the strange discovery from a neighborhood chat.
— I rushed from work, came to see — indeed there were granules, very similar to rat poison. It's difficult to confuse them with anything, and besides, it's not worth risking. To warn other dog owners, I put up an announcement. Then I called the police and wrote a statement.
The press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee's Main Internal Affairs Directorate confirmed to an Onliner journalist that an investigation is being conducted into the incident.
But the story did not end there. Mira decided to warn other dog owners about the potential danger.
— I wrote to the owners from the club where my dog goes for obedience training. They thanked me for the information, and one girl sent a photo of poison from Umanskaya street. I also informed my mother — she also has a dog. Mom works as an administrator at a veterinary clinic in Malinovka — she said that a man came for an appointment who warned that poison was being scattered in the area.
The reader heard about similar cases in the areas of Olshevsky and Umanskaya streets (near "Globo" shopping center), in Malinovka and in Partizansky district.

A similar substance, already found near "Globo" shopping center
Why would someone need to scatter rat poison around the city? Here's the reader's version:
— Once upon a time, I heard a woman from a nearby house shouting something like: "How you've annoyed me with your dogs, poison them all!". One of the owners said yesterday that another conflict happened the other day. Given that this happened in several districts at once, to me it looks like some kind of act by animal abusers, although I could be wrong.
