A book dedicated to the Minsk priest Father Sergi Gardun has been published. The publication begins a new series "48 Outstanding Orthodox Figures of Belarus". The author of the book is writer Anatol Astapenka, reported by "The Belarusian Writers' Union".
The presentation of the publication took place recently in the parish house of the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral.

Sergi Gardun (1959—2022) was a lecturer at the Minsk Theological Academy and Seminary, head of the Department of Biblical and Church-Historical Disciplines at the Institute of Theology, BSU. He was fluent in Ukrainian, Greek, Latin, Church Slavonic, English, French, and Polish. He led the working group that translated the New Testament into Belarusian.
The publication can be found in the bookstore at the Peter and Paul Church on Nemiga.
