Macron to Trump: Serious people don't say one thing today and another tomorrow
Donald Trump publicly criticized Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte. Journalists asked Macron to comment on the words of the US President. He didn't limit himself to just that incident.

Macron said he would not respond to Trump's words — "it doesn't deserve a response." Because now, according to him, the discussion is about "much more serious things."
"We are talking about war, we are talking today about people who are in battle, about women, men, and civilians who are dying," he said.
Macron said that action must be taken "for de-escalation, for a ceasefire, for the resumption of negotiations."
He called for less talk.
"If you want to be serious, you don't say the opposite of what you said the day before, every day. And maybe you shouldn't talk every day, you just need to act, reduce tension and build lasting peace," he said.
