Several unknown drones have crashed on Finnish territory. Two of them were spotted by military personnel on the morning of March 29 – they were flying slowly and at low altitudes over the Baltic Sea and in southeastern Finland. The Air Force carried out a reconnaissance mission with an F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet.

Police arrived at the drone crash site. Screenshot from Yle video.
According to the Finnish Ministry of Defense, one drone crashed north of the city of Kouvola, and another – to its east. This city is located approximately 50 kilometers from the Russian border, writes "European Pravda".
Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo stated that these drones could have been Ukrainian. He explained that Ukraine recently carried out attacks on a Russian region bordering Finland, and Russia jams drone signals.
«This violation of territory is a very serious matter. These are likely Ukrainian drones, but the matter is under investigation and will be reported on later… We will draw conclusions from this once the full picture of the situation becomes clear,» Yle quotes him as saying.
He added that Finland did not shoot down the drones, but that they fell on their own.
Later on Sunday, another drone was found – it crashed on sea ice in the Melsteninranta area in Espoo.
