A Funny Children's Book by a Finnish Writer is Coming Out in Belarusian

Gutenberg Publisher has announced the release of a children's book by Finnish writer Timo Parvela, "Pate Plays Football," in Belarusian. The translation from the original was done by Yury Lashkevich. To Belarusian young readers, writer Timo Parvela is known for his book "Ella and Friends," writes Bellit.info.

Pate, who was one of Ella's friends, this time returns as the main character of a new book. The thing is, Pate wasn't chosen for the football team. So he wants to create his own and invite Messi, Ronaldo, and Zlatan, although it's quite difficult to get in touch with them. Fortunately, Pate finds friends with whom he might be able to assemble a team. But are a three-legged dog, ninety-year-old neighbor Eino, and a man with a bag capable of becoming excellent footballers?

"Pate Plays Football" is an engaging, fun read in softcover with black-and-white illustrations.

You can order the book right now through the publisher's website: Gutenbergpublisher.eu.
