Alexander Burak was born in Zhodino in 1991. From a young age, he became interested in other people's property: he rummaged through dachas and stole from cars. When Russia opened up the opportunity for such people to loot the property of Ukrainians, the Zhodino resident didn't think twice and went to the front. But he wasn't lucky.
It became known about another Belarusian who died on Russia's side. This is recidivist Alexander Burak from Zhodino.
As is known from Belpol databases, Burak began his criminal activity by eyeing a poorly locked house in one of the garden cooperatives and started going in, taking something new each time. The owners only noticed when a drill went missing. Alexander was apprehended hot on the trail.
Then Burak's peculiar love for technology manifested — when he saw an unattended car, he would smash the window and take everything that was inside: car radios, torn jackets, sleeping bags.
If there was absolutely nothing in the car, not even a car radio, he would just ride in it, and sometimes even give his friends rides. He was put on the wanted list for evading a corrective labor sentence.
When he already came to the attention of the police, he started going to another district in the autumn to "work on" cars parked by mushroom pickers.
Alexander Burak ended up signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2025. He joined an assault squad, went on his first "meat assault" in October 2025 and disappeared without a trace.
