In Minsk, on Yakub Kolas Street on April 9, tram traffic was temporarily stopped. Initially, they did not run towards Zyalony Luh, and then in the opposite direction, reports the Minsk-Novosti agency.

The cause was a breakdown of one of the trams: its axle broke off and a wheel detached. Due to this, the transport stopped. Eyewitnesses noticed its abnormal position and began writing on social media, claiming the tram had derailed.

In reality, however, although the tram's wheel detached, it remained on the tracks.
Specialists are investigating the causes of the breakdown, and tram traffic on this line was restored approximately an hour later.
