The high-profile story of the 4-year-old girl who went out to play alone on Saturday morning and got lost has continued. The children were taken from the family and placed in a hospital, reports Newgrodno.by with reference to the "Grodno Plus" TV channel.
Recall that on Saturday, April 25, passers-by noticed a lonely child near house No. 129 on Dzerzhinsky Street in the regional center. The girl only knew her name and her mother's name – neither her surname nor her address. After some time, the mother was found. By the way, she did not report the child's disappearance to the police. She looked for her daughter on the street but returned home. Later, she explained that the girl had left the house by herself in the morning because the door was unlocked. The woman could not explain the reason for her inaction to the police.
In total, she has three children: 1.5 years old, 4 years old, and 7 years old. As a result of the investigation, additional circumstances were revealed that prevented the minors from staying at home. The girl's mother became of interest to guardianship.
— One of the reasons for removal from the family is improper control over the whereabouts of a minor child. It was also established that there are inadequate sanitary conditions for the residence of minor children, in connection with which a decision was made to place the children in an infectious diseases hospital.
They can stay in the infectious diseases hospital for up to a month, and during this time, the mother must address all remarks to get the children back. If she does not correct these violations, the children will be transferred to state care of the Republic of Belarus, and the state will then take care of their future fate, said Pavel Navakolski, Deputy Head of Juvenile Affairs of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Grodno.
In this situation, the question of imposing any penalties or fines on her is not being raised.
