The Manchester club lost its chances to catch up with the Londoners; the gap between the teams is four points.
Before this, "Arsenal" finished second in the Premier League for three consecutive years, twice behind "Manchester City", and last season behind "Liverpool".
In the history of the English football championship, whose first season was played in 1888-1889, "Arsenal" ranks third in terms of titles, with 14 championships. "Manchester United" and "Liverpool" have 20 each, "Manchester City" has 10, and "Everton" has 9.
However, "Arsenal" last won in the 2003/2004 season, when the team, managed by Arsene Wenger, went through the entire championship without a single defeat.
This weekend marks the end of football championships in countries where they are played under the autumn-spring system.
Today, the Europa League final "Aston Villa" - "Freiburg" will take place, next Wednesday - the Conference League final "Crystal Palace" - "Rayo Vallecano". And "Arsenal" will play PSG on Saturday, May 30, in the Champions League final.
