In Kastsyukovichy district, father wounded 15-year-old son with a shotgun

The incident occurred on the morning of May 24 in the village of Byalynkavichy, Kastsyukovichy district, Mogilev region, when a 61-year-old local resident, together with his underage son, was helping a farmer slaughter a piglet.

The man decided to use a smoothbore shotgun. The weapon was inherited by him but was not officially registered, writes the Investigative Committee.

At the moment of the shot, the father accidentally hit his child. As a result of the incident, the 15-year-old teenager sustained a serious abdominal injury. The boy was urgently hospitalized, and doctors are currently providing him with emergency medical care.

Investigators are working at the scene of the incident.
