Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the words of solidarity that Belarusian democratic forces leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya published on the social network X after a large-scale Russian attack.
In her post, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya condemned another act of aggression and recalled the role of the Minsk regime:
«My thoughts are with the residents of Kyiv and all Ukrainians after the massive night attack. This Russian terror against civilians, carried out with the complicity of the Lukashenka regime, must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Ukraine needs more support. The criminal aggressors must be held accountable».
In response to this post, Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefly thanked the Belarusian leader:
«Thank you for your support!»
On the night of May 24, Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine, firing 90 missiles and 600 drones. The strongest blow fell on Kyiv and the Kyiv region, resulting in more than 80 injured and civilian deaths.
Zelenskyy sharply commented on the large-scale night attack on Ukraine.
He emphasized that these actions by Moscow must be met with a harsh response from the international community, and called on the world for active support: «Today, everyone in the world who does not remain silent, who will help Ukraine, is a defender of life,» he said.
