Russians massively attacked Kyiv and the region, including with 'Oreshnik' and dozens of missiles
On the night of May 24, Russia carried out a large-scale shelling of Kyiv and the region — they attacked with drones, missiles, and Ukrainians report that 'Oreshnik' was also used. The strikes caused numerous fires, destruction of residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure.

The attack affected almost all districts of the Ukrainian capital. Currently, one fatality and many injured are reported. The number of casualties will increase as the rubble is cleared.
Shevchenkivskyi district. One of the most affected districts. Here, the entrance of a 5-story building was completely destroyed, and a fire engulfed all floors. In one of the 9-story buildings, a hit was recorded between the 8th and 9th floors — it is there that a person was preliminarily killed. Also, a school, a business center, a market, and the museum building of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service caught fire.
Obolonskyi district. Rescuers are extinguishing a fire in a 16-story high-rise building at the level of the 12th-13th floors. Also, a construction hypermarket and another residential building are on fire.
Darnytskyi district. The roof of a two-story dormitory caught fire.
Desnianskyi district. A shopping center and a supermarket, as well as garages in a garage cooperative, were damaged.
Solomianskyi district. At the 23rd floor level of a 24-story building, structural damage and a small fire were recorded. Warehouses in the industrial zone were also attacked.
Pecherskyi district. A fire broke out on the 13th floor of a 20-story new building.
Dnipro and Sviatoshynskyi districts. A private house, garages, and a 9-story residential building were damaged.
In the Kyiv region, debris from missiles and UAVs caused fires and destruction in six districts.
