In a documentary film featuring Tsikhanouskaya, Veronika Tsepkalo was blurred
But not at Tsikhanouskaya's request.
In the full-length documentary film about Belarusian women in politics "Not made for politics", footage with Veronika Tsepkalo is blurred.
This was done at Veronika Tsepkalo's own wish — although she generally insisted on cutting all segments with her participation.
"I asked the director to cut all frames from the film where I am present," Veronika confirmed to Nasha Niva. She did not answer the question about the reasons for such a request.

The film "Not made for politics" is currently being shown at screenings abroad and international festivals, and those who have already watched it note the absurdity of Veronika Tsepkalo's blurring: after all, the representation of the headquarters by this trio of women is a historical fact and a recognizable symbol of the 2020 election campaign.
According to people from political and film circles, Veronika Tsepkalo simply did not want to appear in a film about Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. Although the story of the national leader in the film is far from the only one.
