"I'm from the polyclinic, tell me your height and weight." 18-year-old Minsk resident believed a nurse from Telegram and took 12 thousand dollars from home
And left the money in a cache on the bank of the Svislach river.

The guy received a message in the messenger from a fake polyclinic nurse and dictated an SMS code to her. He thought that this way he was linking his phone number to his medical card.
Immediately after that, he received a call from a scammer who introduced himself as an employee of the National Bank's security department. He reported that, allegedly, using the SMS code, fraudsters had taken out loans in the name of the Minsk resident and were funding terrorists with his money, reports "Minsk Police".
To prove his non-involvement in the criminal loans, the young man collected about 12 thousand dollars at home and left them in a cache on the Svislach river embankment - allegedly for a bank verification.
All this time, his parents tried to call their son, but he did not answer. This was because the curators forbade him to tell anyone what had happened, otherwise he faced punishment for disclosing information.
Based on the parents' statement, police officers started an investigation and found their son. However, by that time, another courier had already picked up the money from the cache.
