The President of Serbia announced that his term of office is ending and he may resign. The Serbian leader's statement is reported by N1.

“Perhaps I will resign soon,” he said.
Aleksandar Vučić noted that he does not intend to shorten his presidential term, as former president Boris Tadić once did “with a meaningless formulation, because you either resign or you remain president until the end of your term.”
Vučić became the President of Serbia on May 31, 2017. He was re-elected in April 2022, and his second term began in May 2022. The current presidency is set to end on May 31, 2027. According to the Constitution of Serbia, a person can be elected president no more than twice.
Currently, Vučić is visiting Beijing.
