A fire occurred in a dormitory building on Francis Skaryna Street in Maladziečna. A report of smoke was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

When rescuers arrived at the scene, they saw smoke coming from the windows on the fourth floor. During the inspection, it was found that the ignition occurred in one of the residential rooms — property was burning over a small area of about 2 square meters.
The fire was quickly extinguished by MES employees. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, and the evacuation of residents was not required.
Currently, specialists are determining the cause of the ignition. Five units of firefighting equipment were working at the scene.
