Night rocket strike on Belgorod — a Gazprom enterprise attacked, city has problems with light and water
On the night of July 7, Russian Belgorod and the region came under a massive rocket strike. As a result of the attack, infrastructure in the region was damaged, fires broke out, and part of the city was left without electricity and water supply.

Acting Governor Alexander Shuvaev reported that a fire occurred at one of the industrial facilities in Belgorod, three people were injured as a result of the shelling, and one person died.
As monitoring channels clarify, one of the main targets of the attack was the Belgorod Linear Production Department of Main Gas Pipelines (LPU MG). This enterprise is a branch of Gazprom Transgaz and is responsible for the operation of main gas pipelines and the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to consumers in the Belgorod region.

A large fire broke out on the territory of the facility after the explosions.
In parallel, a large-scale drone attack on the night of July 7 also occurred in the Moscow region. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that more than 430 UAVs flew towards the capital from evening until 6 AM. According to him, most of the drones were neutralized at long distances, and 36 drones were destroyed by air defense forces directly on approach to Moscow.
