In Mogilev, a 48-year-old regional diesel train driver and his 30-year-old assistant were detained. According to law enforcement, the men were stealing diesel fuel for subsequent sale.

As reported by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the detention was carried out by employees of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs.
The investigation established that from February to April, employees of the locomotive depot regularly siphoned diesel fuel from trains. Their actions were recorded by surveillance cameras.
Over three months, they stole about 600 liters of fuel. According to police information, the stolen fuel was sold to acquaintances and relatives.
The damage from their actions is estimated at over 1200 rubles. A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of theft.
