The "Medicine Park" will open in September in Partizansky, near the Slepian water system — opposite the 6th hospital and 14th polyclinic, Minsk-Novosti reports .
— The park, located in one of the most picturesque corners of the district, boasts an impressive area of 9.58 hectares. A branched network of pedestrian paths, over 4 km long, has been created on this territory. The new recreation area covers 2.77 hectares," the district's "Zelenstroy" (Greenery Construction) reported.
The organization's employees say they put a lot of effort into transforming the "Medicine Park" into a green oasis.
— The creative competition "Best Bench from Partizansky District Enterprises" is traditionally held. Thanks to this initiative, 23 original benches appeared on the territory. Additionally, another 21 such pieces of garden-park furniture were replaced," the district's "Zelenstroy" added.
Sport and Education
Along the walking routes, 27 information stands on medical topics have been placed.
For active recreation enthusiasts, a sports zone has been equipped. Specialists installed ten outdoor exercise machines and also repaired existing equipment and added new ones to the active workout area.
Specially equipped routes for cyclists are not provided in this location; however, there are enough paths for cycling.
For those seeking solitude and tranquility, a cozy gazebo has been installed on the edge of the slope. It offers a wonderful view of the Slepian water system.
Prospects
In Partizansky, three eco-trails have already been put in order — "Forest Lake", "Pine Forest" and "Forest Kingdom". In the foreseeable future, another recreation area, "Family Rest", will be formed in Partizansky.
For young visitors, a playground will be organized, and interactive stands will be installed to help children learn about the world. Swings will be placed along the water.
During the winter period, a special area will be prepared here for sledding and tubing.
They plan to complete the work and present the new recreation area by September 12.
