BNB-Bank again experienced a large-scale failure — already the second this summer
On August 20, BNB-Bank reported a serious failure in the operation of its systems. The problems affected several main services at once.
In particular, operations in the new mobile application "Iskra", operations at bank counters, as well as operations and payments for legal entities were temporarily unavailable. However, bank card payments continued to function.
The bank stated that they had already identified the cause of the malfunctions and were working on their elimination. At 13:43, they announced the restoration of services.
This is not the first large-scale technical failure at BNB-Bank in recent months. At the beginning of summer, the bank faced serious problems that lasted about three days. At that time, the bank's mobile application, website, several services and the contact center, internet banking for legal entities, as well as a significant portion of ATMs across the country were not working.
A few days after that failure, BNB-Bank launched a new mobile application "Iskra". The bank emphasized that it is its own development and should make using banking services more convenient.
However, during the new failure, problems also affected "Iskra". As a result, users again faced the inability to perform some operations.
