Operation to evacuate deceased climbers in Kyrgyzstan has been postponed for now
The reason is difficult weather conditions.

The search for missing climbers on Kurumdy Peak has been temporarily suspended. Yesterday, rescuers reportedly found the bodies of the athletes. However, it is not yet possible to carry out an operation to retrieve them due to difficult weather conditions, reports the Telegram channel "Nomad".
The second stage of the operation is scheduled for late August or September. The exact date will be agreed upon with the relatives of the missing.
Yesterday it became known that the bodies of three climbers, believed to have gone missing on August 2, were found in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan: Belarusians Maksim Polyanski and Mikalai Svirydau, and Lithuanian Siarhei Rubtsou.
According to Oleksandr Smirnou, head of the search team, the bodies were discovered while reviewing drone footage. Final identification will be carried out after retrieval. According to the search team, the climbers were in one rope team.
