An exhaust pipe collapsed from above onto a Ford Fiesta parked in a Minsk courtyard. It broke the windows and likely damaged the bodywork and paint.

This happened on August 13 in the courtyard of house No. 41 on Ulyanovskaya Street, next to house No. 19 on Bobruiskaya Street in the city center, writes Onliner.by.
The car was parked, and there were no people nearby — and it's a good thing there weren't! Because part of the exhaust duct — a metal box like this — broke off and crashed down onto the car from a height.
— Construction and installation work for laying ventilation was being carried out, — a reader said.

Apparently, something went wrong. No one was injured, but the car sustained obvious damage. The police were called to the scene.
According to the interlocutor, everything was documented, and the car owner was informed that an inspection would be conducted.

A video from a surveillance camera appeared. It was fortunate that there were no passers-by near the pipe at the moment it fell. Yesterday, he called the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene. Because if something started to fall, what's the guarantee that the entire structure won't fall?
The Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed to Onliner that department specialists visited the scene. After they made sure that the structure remaining on the wall was securely fastened, they informed the applicant about it.
Later, an official notification was received from the Housing and Communal Services of the Oktyabrsky District. In particular, they confirmed that an element of the ventilation system structure had collapsed on the residential building.
«The incident occurred due to the failure of temporary fastenings, as a result of which an element of the tin box fell onto the passenger car,» the message states.
It is emphasized that the car was parked in an unauthorized place, in violation of traffic rules.
