Blue and Green Eggs Will Soon Be Sold in Belarus

An unusual project is being launched by Salihorsk Poultry Farm, reports "Minskaya Praŭda".

Chickens of the Araucana and Ameraucana breeds are responsible for the colored shells. They look truly amazing — striped, with fluffy heads and colored legs.

The management of the poultry farm promises that the eggs will taste excellent, because special chicken coops with "quiet zones" are being built for the birds. They say that if a hen is calm, the egg turns out to be tastier and healthier, because it then contains more lecithin.

They plan to put such eggs on the shelves in mid-2027. There will be 9 pieces per package.
