In Minsk, near Bangalore Square, an unusually wide detour was organized for the duration of construction works. After the markings were applied, it turned out that there are six lanes in each direction here — 12 in total, writes Blizko.by.

However, such a highway appeared only temporarily. It is needed for a detour around the section where the construction of the third metro line is continuing.

Meanwhile, the deadlines for opening new stations have been postponed again — now the completion of works is expected only in 2030.
For comparison: on the MKAD, there are usually three lanes in each direction, near exits there can be four. On Tashkentskaya street — four lanes, and near the intersection with Haladzed street, the configuration reaches 4+5. Six lanes in each direction can only be found on a small section of Partizansky Avenue near the "Dairy Plant" stop.
