The Investigative Committee announced the initiation of special proceedings against Viachaslau Kasiakinerau and Maryna Kasiakinerava — the creators of the human rights initiative Dissidentby.

Viachaslau Kasiakinerau is accused of "creating an extremist formation", "inciting social hatred", "spreading false information" about Belarus, "publicly insulting the president of Belarus", and "assisting extremist activities".
Maryna Kasiakinerava is accused of "creating an extremist formation", "repeatedly creating an extremist formation", "inciting social hatred", "spreading knowingly false information" about Belarus, "publicly insulting the president of Belarus", "assisting extremist activities", and "repeatedly assisting extremist activities".
Representatives of the Belarusian anarchist movement, spouses Maryna and Viachaslau Kasiakinerau, are among the founders of the Dissidentby initiative, which helps political prisoners and other repressed people in Belarus. The initiative particularly focuses on helping those whom human rights defenders, for various reasons, have not recognized as political prisoners.
The Investigative Committee also announced the initiation of special proceedings against another Belarusian — Yauhen Razumko.
He is charged with participation in mass riots involving direct use of violence, as well as attempted murder of internal affairs officers in connection with their duties to protect public order.
