The tax service uncovered major violations in a private dental clinic. Over five years, according to the audit results, more than 10 million rubles in revenue were hidden from taxation, reports the press service of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties.

The scheme was discovered during an unscheduled inspection of the clinic, which provides a wide range of dental services. During the inspection, law enforcement officers found and seized so-called "black" accounting records.
It turned out that the clinic owner, together with the chief accountant, pre-determined which part of the income would not be officially declared. Depending on the number of planned patients for the next day, the share of hidden revenue ranged from 30 to 40%.
Administrators received cash from patients for services, but part of the payments were not processed through the cash register. These funds were transferred to the clinic owner. In addition, separate work notebooks were kept for each doctor, where revenue was divided into official and "grey" parts.
During the inspection, it was also revealed that the dental clinic purchased and used about 3700 dental implants without official documents. Using undeclared cash, the clinic was able to purchase medical products without the necessary documents and pay salaries to some employees "in envelopes".
Following the inspection, the clinic was assessed 5.7 million rubles in taxes and other payments. This includes 2.5 million rubles in income tax from individuals.
The audit materials are planned to be transferred to law enforcement for consideration of initiating a criminal case for large-scale tax evasion. In addition, the clinic will be brought to administrative responsibility.
