Former Ukrainian Minister Fedorov Appointed Advisor to Italian Defense Minister
Former Ukrainian Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov, who was recently controversially dismissed from his position and later demonstrated clear political ambitions, has unexpectedly found employment abroad.

Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Italian Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto offered him to become his advisor on defense innovations, and he agreed.
“In this role, I will help Italy develop modern warfare technologies, improve the defense sector, and adapt to new global security challenges,” Fedorov noted.
During a personal meeting, Fedorov and Crosetto discussed the development of drones and autonomous systems, air defense assets, as well as the formation and development of a defense tech ecosystem – technologies for the defense sector.
Fedorov stated that he will continue to work in Ukraine on projects that strengthen defense and help attract international resources, but did not specify in what capacity.
Mykhailo Fedorov was removed from the post of Ukrainian Minister of Defense on July 15. After that, mass protests in his support took place in Kyiv and other cities, and Fedorov himself called for new elections in Ukraine 10 days ago.
