Pharmacist Hanna Alizarevich in the program «Nashe utro» on ONT TV channel told which liquids are definitely suitable for taking medicine, and which ones are best to avoid.

The specialist named plain water as the most suitable liquid. It has a neutral pH and, as a rule, does not affect the body's absorption of medicines.
However, tea, milk, and juice are not always suitable for this. According to the pharmacist, tea contains substances that can interfere with the action of some preparations. Milk contains proteins and calcium, which can also slow down the action of certain medicines.
At the same time, it is necessary to be guided by the instructions for a specific preparation, as it may specify what exactly it is recommended to drink it with. For example, the instructions for iron preparations may specifically recommend drinking them with acidic juice, because vitamin C promotes better iron absorption.
However, in general, the pharmacist recommends using plain water for taking medicines. You definitely won't go wrong with it.
