Owner of 'Wagner' Sledgehammer from Rechytsa Got a Job as a Youth Policy Specialist
This refers to Vladimir Habrou, the founder of the Rechytsa military-patriotic club "Skif," writes "Flagstock."
In a publication by the Rechytsa Department of Technological Transport (RDTT), part of the "Belarusneft" structure, Habrou is shown at a desk among official papers. In another publication, he is listed as a specialist of the enterprise's ideological work, social, and youth policy service.
As "Flagstock" found out, Habrou has held this position for at least a year — since September 2025. Previously, there was no mention of such a position at the enterprise. Therefore, it is highly probable that the position was created specifically for Habrou. Earlier, "Belarusneft" structures had already supported the club leader's "patriotic" initiatives.
In 2024, Habrou worked in a production position — as a fifth-grade technological pump operator in the oil preparation and processing workshop of the "Rechytsanafta" department. This is stated in his official biography as a candidate for deputy.
Vladimir Habrou has managed the "Skif" special training center for pre-conscription youth for many years. Before the start of the full-scale war, he called on Ukrainian soldiers to surrender, and in the summer of 2022, he advertised recruitment into the Russian PMC "Wagner".
In 2023, Habrou received a sledgehammer with the group's symbolism from a representative of PMC "Wagner" and made it an exhibit in the museum at the Rechytsa District Gymnasium (in 2022–2023, the PMC sledgehammer became a symbol of extrajudicial killings in Russia's war against Ukraine). "Flagstock" then found out that the person who gifted the sledgehammer was likely PMC unit commander Nikolai Budko. He is suspected of involvement in war crimes. In July 2025, the "Skif" club, led by Habrou, published an obituary in memory of a Russian mercenary killed in Africa.
Now, ideological work and youth engagement are part of Habrou's official duties.
