Former head of Lukashenka's Security Service sold a cottage in Drazdy for $1.2 million
Andrei Utyurin spent five years in a penal colony before his former boss pardoned him.

One of the expensive cottages in Drazdy had been on sale for over three years. At least until 2021, it was owned by Andrei Utyurin, the former head of Aliaksandr Lukashenka's Security Service. This is a 590-square-meter house, which at that time still lacked interior finishing. At various times, the property cost between $1.3 and $1.4 million, writes "Zerkalo".
The cottage was sold in the summer of 2025. It was likely the most expensive house sold in August of that year, costing $1.2 million. This property is located on the same street as Utyurin's house, and their areas match.
Andrei Utyurin headed Aliaksandr Lukashenka's Security Service since 2007. He spent seven years in this position, and in September 2014, he was transferred to the post of Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council.
In the spring of 2019, he was detained while receiving a bribe from a Russian businessman. In 2020, he was found guilty of receiving bribes totaling $192,000. It was reported that he was paid such sums for lobbying interests in the supply of telecommunications equipment for the Department of Correctional Enforcement, specifically for prison No. 8 in Zhodino.
Andrei Utyurin was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment in a high-security penal colony. However, already in 2024, Lukashenka pardoned his former subordinate.
