On December 16, an online ceremony honoring the Francišak Bahuševič Award for the best historical work published in 2024 took place on the Belarusian PEN channel.

The annual award, established in 1994, bears the name of the outstanding Belarusian writer and public figure and is traditionally presented to authors for excellent historical prose that promotes the awakening of historical consciousness and national independence among readers.
This year, several winners were honored:
- for the intellectual actualization of material heritage, Katsiaryna Vadanosava and her project «Nitka Zorka. Katsiaryna Vadanosava's Workshop» on the «Belsat» TV channel received the Francišak Bahuševič Award;

- for a substantial contribution to Belarusian immortality, Natallia Hardzienka and Liavon Yurevich became winners of the Francišak Bahuševič Award with the publication «Book of Cemeteries. Belarusian Burials in the World» (Kamunikat.org Foundation, 2024).

In addition to these two awards, the Belarusian PEN Board honored Siarhiej Dubaviec's book «A Century of NN» (Viasna, 2024) with a special mention for its creative reinterpretation of national classics.
