Thus, from the beginning of next year, individual entrepreneurs will no longer be able to engage in publishing activities.
Nevertheless, IEs who are already registered as publishers in the state register can, by December 31, freely replace their state registration certificates with new ones if they create, in the prescribed manner, a commercial organization founded by one person, writes Office Life.
A list of types of activities for which it is allowed to be an IE and self-employed appeared in July 2024, and from October 1 of the same year, the registration of new IEs with types of activities not included in this list was stopped.
At the same time, for IEs in the new year, the possibility will remain to continue trading printed publications, but only retail.
The department also noted that individual entrepreneurs registered in the State Register as distributors of printed publications who carry out wholesale trade and have not created a commercial organization founded by one person must send to the Ministry of Information a corresponding notification about making changes to the State Register.
