Belarusian volunteer Aliaksandr "Gerard" Krasouski was detained in Ukraine on March 14, 2026. On July 31, he was released on bail, although no official charges have been brought against him to this day, reported blogger Siarhei Biapalau.

Aliaksandr Krasouski was detained on March 14. He is suspected of unauthorized abandonment of a military unit and illegal handling of weapons and ammunition. He also had 1.4 million euros with him.
A criminal case was initiated back in January, after which secret investigative actions were carried out for almost two months.
Krasouski is a native of Minsk. After the start of the war, he fought as part of the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment, and later in the "Tur" unit of the 225th separate assault battalion. He also participated in the operation in the Kursk region.
The volunteer has state awards of Ukraine, including a full set of the Order "For Courage", as well as other insignia for participation in combat operations. Together with his wife, who serves in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, he is raising a daughter with a disability.
