Inna Kuley: Milinkevich Defeated Death, But the Path to Full Recovery is Not Short
After a month of a difficult fight for his life, politician and public figure Alexander Milinkevich is on the mend. This was reported by his wife Inna Kuley.

«Today marks exactly one month since the terrible unexpected consequences of the planned operation. This whole month we've been on an emotional rollercoaster: a step forward — a step back.
From "prepare for the worst" to "preparing for rehabilitation".
With God's help, Alexander defeated death and pneumonia, which is a common companion for such patients, and is now truly on a good path.
The path to full recovery is not short, but I believe. I believe unconditionally and endlessly. And I know that the celebration is still ahead," wrote Inna Kuley.
She congratulated everyone on Christmas and thanked those who worried about her husband.
On November 25, Alexander Milinkevich underwent an operation to remove a blood clot that was blocking 80% of his carotid artery. During the operation, severe bleeding occurred, after which the politician was admitted to intensive care in a very serious condition. He was placed into a medically induced coma.
Alexander Milinkevich is now 78 years old. He is from Grodno, and from 1990 to 1996, he served as deputy chairman of the Grodno City Executive Committee, significantly contributing to the Belarusization of the city during that time. In 2006, he was a candidate from the democratic opposition with the status of "united" in the presidential elections. Afterwards, he founded the public movement "For Freedom" and was its leader until 2016. In recent years, he has been an unregistered advisor to Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, and one of the organizers of the "Free Belarusian University".
