Belarus plans to update railway transport and river fleet in the next five years
Belarus has prepared a state program for the development of transport infrastructure for 2026-2030. It was presented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The program provides for a large-scale update of all types of transport and the implementation of important infrastructure projects.

Approximately 8 billion rubles are planned to be allocated for these purposes over the next five years.
The program includes four subprograms – railway, road and urban passenger transport, water, and air. The main tasks are to update rolling stock, improve the quality and accessibility of transport services, develop infrastructure, and increase the efficiency of river and air transport.
The authorities intend to acquire about 3.5 thousand units of road and urban passenger transport, update the railway and aviation fleet, and modernize the river fleet. A total of 27 activities are planned, of which 19 are infrastructure projects.
Key initiatives include the organization of high-speed rail connection to Minsk National Airport, the construction of the third line of the Minsk Metro, the construction of a tram line in Novopolotsk, and the reconstruction of tram tracks in Vitebsk. Modernization of hydraulic structures on the Dnieper-Bug Canal in the Brest region will also continue.
Over the previous five-year period (2021-2025), as noted, 8.2 billion passengers were transported, and more than 2.5 thousand units of transport were updated. This included the acquisition of three wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft, electric trains, diesel locomotives, thousands of freight wagons, the opening of new metro stations, and the repair of hydraulic structures.
An even more ambitious goal has been set for the new five-year period – to transport 9.3 billion passengers.

Ну, разве, с белжд снимут оплату перевозки льготников, перевозку семейных грузов лукашенко, финансирование закупок трамваев, автобусов, троллейбусов, колхозов и совхозов, чм по хоккею и других развлекух лукашенко.
Но, не верится, на кого переложат вышеперечисленное ?
А кто будет чинить, обслуживать и эксплуатировать новое ???
Всех сократили, оптимизировали и повыгнали...
Так и теперь провернут распилчик, всё оплатит бедолага железнодорожник....
