In Gomel, a couple registered their marriage in Father Frost and Snow Maiden costumes
In Gomel, on the eve of the New Year celebration, an unusual marriage registration took place: Stanislav and Marina came to the registry office in Father Frost and Snow Maiden costumes, writes BelTA.

The newlyweds decided to make December 31 a special date to enter 2026 as a true family. The ceremony took place at the Registry Office of the Novobelitsky district of Gomel, and the love story of the guy and girl was no less fairytale-like.
Stanislav and Marina met online: the guy from Gomel liked a photo of the girl from Petrikov on a dating site, after which they started corresponding and communicating regularly. Despite almost two hundred kilometers between their cities, the guy and girl felt a connection.
Their first meeting took place in Gomel a year ago, also before the New Year: Stanislav met Marina at the station, and they walked around the Novobelitsky district. The guy gave the girl sweet treats from Father Frost and even set up a tent in his apartment – jokingly and solemnly at the same time.

Then, on December 31, Stanislav proposed to Marina to be his girlfriend, and six months later she moved to Gomel. Now they have made their relationship fully official.
For the festive registration, the couple chose original costumes: Stanislav wore a floor-length red fur coat, and Marina wore a delicate blue fur coat with snowflakes. Even the weather responded to their feelings – snow beautifully covered the city.
Stanislav proposed near a bridge by the lake in the Novobelitsky district: he knelt down and gave Marina a unique leather ring he made himself. During the registration, the newlyweds exchanged similar rings.

Living together doesn't scare them: they share all household chores and love to cook together. Stanislav makes burgers and sushi, Marina makes potato and mushroom dishes, always with love.
The couple will spend the first couple of days of the new year with loved ones, and later celebrate the event with friends. They already have a common cat, Heinrich, and Marina dreams of bringing two more of her cats from Petrikov. They plan a large family, as Marina loves children and always dreamed of being a mother of many.
